Pragmatis Labs is a technology company. It is not a law firm, is not enrolled with any Bar Council, and does not practise law within the meaning of the Advocates Act, 1961. Nothing generated by the Pragmatis platform, including the PIR Engine, constitutes legal advice, a legal opinion, or a solicitation to provide legal services. No advocate-client relationship is created between Pragmatis Labs and any user, or between Pragmatis Labs and any client of any user.

The platform is a research and drafting aid intended for use by qualified legal professionals exercising independent professional judgment. Responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and propriety of any submission, opinion, advice, or filing rests solely and entirely with the advocate or professional who signs it.

Where Pragmatis expresses a likelihood, strength assessment, confidence score, or comparative weighting of arguments, that output is a machine-generated inference over historical material. It is not a prediction of outcome, a guarantee of result, or a substitute for the judgment of counsel. It must not be represented to any client as a forecast of how a matter will be decided.

Material uploaded to Pragmatis is processed on Pragmatis infrastructure and, where applicable, by third-party model providers under contract. Users are responsible for determining whether their professional obligations permit that transmission and for obtaining any required client consent before uploading privileged, confidential, or client-identifying material. Sensitive material should be redacted or anonymised before upload.

Pragmatis processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where a user uploads personal data relating to clients or third parties, the user is responsible for the lawful basis, notices, and consent obligations applicable to that data.

Connected third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Users must satisfy themselves that each connected service meets their confidentiality obligations before enabling an integration.

Pragmatis is made available to advocates enrolled with a State Bar Council, in-house counsel, law firms, and legal professionals. It is not intended for, and must not be used as, a source of legal advice by litigants in person or members of the public.

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pragmatis Labs shall not be liable for loss arising from reliance on platform outputs. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to fees paid by the user in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Keep your credentials secure. Don't misuse the platform or scrape it without permission. We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance.
